Thanks, Eoin.  Somehow the Ektar picked up both warmth and coolness, which I find "cool" :)

This is beautiful, Adam. Great work!

Wayne - your gear description is like a foreign language to me.  But I love the photo! :)

Doing great with the Ektar, Eoin.  The greens in the first one are great!

Not many people would have thought to take a photo at that moment.  Well seen.

Dear Becker -

You are certainly right when it comes to showcasing your work in a gallery.  In galleries, people don't talk about gear and film stock but rather focus on the story that is being told and the emotions that are invoked.  This thread is not such a gallery.  It is more of a 24 hours a day, 7 day a week, film photography workshop.   It is about the sharing of results from different film stocks and gear, with well executed photos serving as a source of inspiration for other participants.  There are countless comments on this thread where people have said "wow, nice result, I have to try that film..."

I personally have been inspired by:

-Christoph's well executed photos of the crazy Adox color implosions film and the Ferrania P30 film

-Chrism's well executed results with the Ilford Pan 50.

-Richard's  (from Australia) pencil grays from the Ilford Delta 100/400.

-Patrick's very surprisingly good results with the Superia at night.

-Henry's deep blacks from the Tri-X, and the HP5 in the fog, and portra 160 with flowers

just to mention a small few...and so many more...

This is a large part of the reason that I participate in this thread.  And I think it is a large part of what fuels its unique success.

I love viewing your images for what they are.  Please don't stop!  I just don't get the same context and utility as I do from the others... This is possibly just me and admittedly it is somewhat selfish!

Merry Christmas!!

think its not important which film You take , every film ( is better than sensor ) will bring a good negativ

if You have simple workflow and do not play too much pulling pushing and so on.

Dear Adam and all enthusiast here, thx again gentlemen f Y nice replies and Your attention, its really not I want to make a secret out of which film , gear and

so on, I used , I just don t know yet, the 80 s are trix 400, the newer ar addox and mostly the new APX ( bec its cheap an available even in drug shops here)

like it was in film days. I swear I alway use rodinal 1/ 25  at 18° Celsius, I use  plastic spools and tanks from Patterson and a Nikon scanner ed 40 meanwhile I scan with a medium res, bec its  fast  and the pics look well.  Vue Scan is a great SW and post I do in C1

I nearly always use the 40 mm M Rokkor. seldom a 50 , 1,5 I . Im lazy and its

a good lens to get common with, I had a summicron 35 before but someone strange liked it too ;-)

I like the Rodinal bec  its stockable  and fast. and compact.
