sblitz Posted December 22, 2017 Share #44161 Posted December 22, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Steve - very nice. True, there isn't the warmth and nasty reaction to the fluorescent lights that one might expect from portra 800 - which is a very good thing!. However, I think you'd expect much more red halos from the Cinestill - a dead giveaway. I am impressed by the color balance in this Subway shot. Magic of Capture One 11 for setting the white balance. Steve Ricoh Posted December 22, 2017 Share #44164 Posted December 22, 2017 Very nice, Steve. It might be me but you might re-look at the horizon. Seems possibly a little tilted. But over a nice high contrast PO Thanks Adam. Ah yes, I believe you're correct, I can see the negative was slightly sqewed during scan time. Obviously it was straight as a die at capture time.

EoinC Posted December 23, 2017 Share #44166 Posted December 23, 2017 Bergger Pancro400 4x5" (developed in PMK) in Chamonix 45F2 with Symmar-S MC 150. My first PANCRO400 4x5" capture which convinces me for this film over TriX320: it's clean, carefully produced, which I haven't seen with TriX320 lately I'm sorry to say. Also, I'm inclined to think that I like this better than the PhaseOne Monochrome option because film has a more natural sharpness than the ultimate digital. Stunningly good, Otto. SunnySixteen Posted December 23, 2017 Share #44174 Posted December 23, 2017 (edited) Hey everyone, it's been a a couple months, haven't been too active but trying to jump back in. I need to catch up on the thread, it looks like it's been very busy! I've only shot a few rolls of film recently and honestly haven't been very inspired but that needs to change. Here's a recent one shot on tri-x, hoping to jump back in and find my mojo again haha ... Welcome, dear visitor!
