Mathias - There are several LUF threads that discuss the setup for, and quality of, BEOON digitalizions. See this thread, which I started when I was surprised how good my combination of BEOON + M10 + Focotar 2 was for digitalizing transparency film: basically I feel that I'm getting quality at least as good as I got with my old Imacon Precision III scanner (6300 true optical resolutions and dMax of 4.2) — with the speed of 5-10 sec per frame. I was also surprised that these files required substantially less post-processing adjustments than I had to for the Imacon scans.

Here are a few examples of Kodachrome digitalizations that, in my view, reproduce the look of the film as opposed to having the look of the M10:

I agree with Edward, Phil.  A good old fashioned old world moment :)

I'd desperately like to get on page 2001, so I'm afraid you're all going to have to suffer another from the chronicles:

Interesting scene, Wayne.

Thanks :)

Good thing Ektar delivers for this subject.

Very nice, James.  I think I like one even better than the one you posted yesterday due to the stronger geometry in the foreground.  Both are really nice, though.

Sharing a little pride and joy. Made a visit to my plexi-mounting company in Brooklyn to inspect a few of my Fuji Flex high gloss prints of Central Park that I had mounted on 1/4" plexi-glass with a 1/8" aluminum backing. This company adds the bit of tender loving care needed to properly mount the Fiji Flex paper (as it is very tricky). The results are completely gorgeous!! All three photos (20x20, 40x24 and 40x40) were shared on this thread as they were taken :)

Agreed. Quite awesome.

Thanks, Gentlemen.  They won't be going in my home and I wanted to see them in the flesh before they were shipped.   It is interesting to see the different ways in which people present their photographs.  I've seen quite a bit of metal printing (with a glassy finish) lately.  The colors are quite good and it has the benefit of being completely waterproof, so it is suitable for pool areas and generally outside.  I'd be interested in hearing thoughts from others who have experience with metal printing.

I love the simplicity, high contrast and the deep warm colors of this one, Adam.

And the prints are gorgeous! It must be very satisfying to see one's work materialized into a real palpable piece of art.

Love the black and white shots from Thailand Edward, I like seeing this colourful country in b/w.

Some monochrome for a change :)

Great scene, I imagine in still being played out the same right now, 30 years later.

As above, I liked the one with the baby (slightly alarmingly playing with a plastic bag!)/warm, smiling relative best.

No moving mirror of course (still need a fixed one to see what's going on) but, absolutely, of all the cameras I've ever owned or used the Rolleiflex has by far the most wonderful shutter :)

no mirror  ;)

Lovely colours in this one and really enjoyed the second of your big vistas towards the Abbey.

Another one from the Abbey Le Mont-Saint-Michel:

Great to see these finished products and, presumably, you selling prints as well, Adam?

Richly deserved and no small effort involved on your part after many super early starts/tripod expeditions etc. Great stuff!

I've only just started cutting my own mats and mounting little 5x7 enlargements but really really enjoying the end-to-end nature of the process.

I can't quote every image but I've tried to 'like' as well and continue to enjoy the massive variety of everything. Film... is it.

A couple of street scenes with Rolleiflex and Delta 100 this time, still only up to April.

Fantastic ... I remember your great autumn photos. I can imagine that the big Flexi prints are very impressive ...

Congratulations
