edwardkaraa Posted September 12, 2017 Share #39882 Posted September 12, 2017 Now that this thread reached 2000 pages I am a bit worried about the absence of Henry In the next days I will scan the rolls I had with me on the road trip last month. I think I will share some of the results here soon. Here something different from a stroll through a nearby zoo: Bild-1-59.jpg Mamiya 645 1000S - Sekor-C 80 - Cinestill 800T Amazing colors and a very nice shot. I can also see the typical 800T red halo around the highlights I'm also concerned about Henry's absence. I hope he's in SE Asia shooting in the jungle.

stray cat Posted September 13, 2017 Share #39890 Posted September 13, 2017 (edited) Lovely photo, beautiful greys. I'll join forces with you to try and make Henry emerge... I'll try some fog. Fence in fog.jpg Taninges, Haute-Savoie An excellent lure for Henry - and an excellent photo. My wife in the jungle M7-35 Distagon-Ektar 100 by edward karaa, on Flickr This is a lovely portrait, Edward - one of your best. 06B17-25.jpg M6, ADOX CHS50, 28 ElmaritASPH1 A beautiful, dramatic landscape. Did you use a filter on the lens? Here something different from a stroll through a nearby zoo: Bild-1-59.jpg Mamiya 645 1000S - Sekor-C 80 - Cinestill 800T This is just lovely James - striking colours. Those Cinestill and Colour Implosion films really bring something new to the mix. And where is Henry? Whiskeyyyy .... COL_Bogota+Subachoque_R1_SFX200_04Listo.jpg Hasselblad 500cm, Ilford SFX200, Epson 700 with ANR glas This is a fantastic perspective Gregor - is it in Mexico? As I promised you some shots from my road trip , here comes as an appetizer one of my takes of Le Mont-Saint-Michel: Bild-1-51.jpg Minilux - Agfa CT 100 Precisa What a lovely portrait of this beautiful place. It is well worth it to take a little side-trip off the entrance road to get a picture like this. Great colour here. A couple from the museum, HP5, Rolleiflex These are so great Richard - you really have those soft greys nailed, along with a very strong graphic sense. A miller Posted September 13, 2017 Share #39891 Posted September 13, 2017 Here is the same steel structure that was the subject of the world heavyweight champion match that took place a couple of days ago. Only this time it is shot (taken at Dawn) from farther away (up a hill) and with the 503cw and 80 planar Kodak Ektar is the film de jure This is from the morning that I drove and hour and a half in the middle of the night only to get there and find that I forgot my bag of film and only had a half of a roll of Ektar in one of the film backs. So no other films to compare today! Welcome, dear visitor! stray cat Posted September 13, 2017 Share #39892 Posted September 13, 2017 Shot with half a roll? Made no difference how many you'd have taken - this is absolutely stunning.
Guest )-( Posted September 13, 2017 Share #39893 Posted September 13, 2017 +1 super shot Adam. I prefer this one for the flattened effect on the sculpture, the missing foreground flora and the wow colour of Ektar of course. Good job you had half a roll left. Thank you both for the positive feedback on the museum shots, much appreciated.

This angle and the quality of the light on this shot are a notch better than the previous ones. High quality work as always.

edwardkaraa Posted September 13, 2017 Share #39897 Posted September 13, 2017 A couple from the museum, HP5, Rolleiflex Great interior photography Richard. I wish you could have leveled the left side in the second shot but that's a minor detail.
Ratzfatz Posted September 13, 2017 Share #39898 Posted September 13, 2017 upppsss ... Yes, of course the form of the white rock of Rügen has a different form. No - this island is a bit larger. It's Great Britain, the cliffs of Dover. Best Frank Thank you very much for your comment. No it is in Colombia. This is a fantastic perspective Gregor - is it in Mexico? fotomas Posted September 13, 2017 Share #39899 Posted September 13, 2017 A beautiful, dramatic landscape. Did you use a filter on the lens? Yes - but I am astonished a bit by my self about the strength of the effect, since it was only a medium yellow filter.
Guest )-( Posted September 13, 2017 Share #39900 Posted September 13, 2017 Great interior photography Richard. I wish you could have leveled the left side in the second shot but that's a minor detail. Thanks Edward. I have the frame before with better verticals, couldn't make my mind up which I preferred. I started the roll in bright sunshine so these ended up 1/15, maybe even 1/8. Welcome, dear visitor!
