Now that this thread reached 2000 pages I am a bit worried about the absence of Henry :o

In the next days I will scan the rolls I had with me on the road trip last month. I think I will share some of the results here soon. Here something different from a stroll through a nearby zoo:

Bild-1-59.jpg

Mamiya 645 1000S - Sekor-C 80 - Cinestill 800T

Amazing colors and a very nice shot. I can also see the typical 800T red halo around the highlights :)

I'm also concerned about Henry's absence. I hope he's in SE Asia shooting in the jungle.

Lovely photo, beautiful greys.

I'll join forces with you to try and make Henry emerge... I'll try some fog.

An excellent lure for Henry - and an excellent photo.

This is a lovely portrait, Edward - one of your best.

A beautiful, dramatic landscape. Did you use a filter on the lens?

This is just lovely James - striking colours. Those Cinestill and Colour Implosion films really bring something new to the mix. And where is Henry?

This is a fantastic perspective Gregor - is it in Mexico?

What a lovely portrait of this beautiful place. It is well worth it to take a little side-trip off the entrance road to get a picture like this. Great colour here.

These are so great Richard - you really have those soft greys nailed, along with a very strong graphic sense.

Here is the same steel structure that was the subject of the world heavyweight champion match that took place a couple of days ago.

Only this time it is shot (taken at Dawn) from farther away (up a hill) and with the 503cw and 80 planar

Kodak Ektar is the film de jure :)

This is from the morning that I drove and hour and a half in the middle of the night only to get there and find that I forgot my bag of film and only had a half of a roll of Ektar in one of the film backs.  So no other films to compare today!

+1 super shot Adam. I prefer this one for the flattened effect on the sculpture, the missing foreground flora and the wow colour of Ektar of course. Good job you had half a roll left.

Thank you both for the positive feedback on the museum shots, much appreciated.

Thank you for your kind comments Adam. I feel that I'm improving my scanning technique slowly slowly.

I agree with Richard. This angle and the quality of the light on this shot are a notch better than the previous ones. High quality work as always.

upppsss ... Yes, of course the form of the white rock of Rügen has a different form.

No - this island is a bit larger. ;)

It's Great Britain, the cliffs of Dover.

Thank you very much for your comment. No it is in Colombia.

Edward, thank you so much for your kind comment!

The square frame works so well with this shot. Timing and people's expressions are perfect.

Great interior photography Richard. I wish you could have leveled the left side in the second shot but that's a minor detail.

Thanks Edward. I have the frame before with better verticals, couldn't make my mind up which I preferred.

I started the roll in bright sunshine so these ended up 1/15, maybe even 1/8.

One more from the same roll (from April! slow turnaround!)
