Another archival shot, this one from a dozen or so years ago. We were doing a modelling portfolio for Phoebe and her sister. This was during a break - I was inside having a glass of water and Phoebe was talking with the lady who was doing the hair and makeup. I really liked her expression here and took this through the kitchen window, and it became our favourite of the session:

Amazing, Phil.

The first looks like Elvis.

The one with the lawn mower could easily be from the early sixties.  The TV show "Brady Bunch" comes to mind.  LOVE the colors and the random subject and pose.  Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much, Adam and Henry. This thread is such an incredible resource, not just for seeing what can and has been done with film in its various guises, but due to the generous advice, comments and thoughts so freely given, as yours are here. I regret and apologize that I don't always get around to leaving a comment - for instance, that Dead Sea picture of yours Adam is simply amazing and has whetted my appetite to see more of these 80 rolls! And Henry, your pictures from all over the world are testament to, not only are you a wonderful photographer, but with your humanitarian missions you show yourself to be a wonderful person.

The girls are my wife's cousin's daughters. I think they actually got some work through the modelling portfolios we did that day - from memory one or the other straight away got a part in Neighbours, an Australian TV soap opera. So, it was a great day and a good result!

Hi Henry, thank you!
What do you mean, "S"? I have an M9 and Contax T3 and had various MF systems, and a few analog Leica Ms (M6, M7). I miss none of them, except the G2, that I had to sell unfortunately. Its the ONE camera system I regret selling. It was the best 135 system (*duck*) for me :)

Very impressive picture and nice natural grain

Thank you for posting Peter

One question you have S camera isn't ? if yes have you compared

the both system ?

Peter, sorry for the confusion I believe you have the Leica S digital MF.

I saw you intervene in S (or SL) thread :)

For the M9 and M8 I always compared between the two supports film and digital and I posted

many comparisons in example  in this thread.

Black is nicer and homogeneous (no banding) and color more faithful and natural

in film

Thank yous for your reply Peter . All your pictures are great .. :) Best

My new Pacific Imaging scanner is starting to show a purple right border, plus many other annoying problems, so I just purchased a Nikon Coolscan V from an online seller. I hope it works properly so that I get rid of this cheap junk.
