Doc Henry Posted August 28, 2017 Author Share #39112 Posted August 28, 2017 One of the things I love about film is, when you've had a film in a camera for a while, you forget what's on it. This was Fuji Superia 200 and I think must be out of date. It was in my Leica 111f which I fancy as my ski touring mechanical film camera, replacing a very beat up Olympus OM1. This was an image taken on a day we sat out a snow storm which stopped play. The lens was a Voigtlander 35 f2.5 Color Skopar, and the scanner Kodak Pakon F135+. Pete AA017-2.jpg Well done Pete I learned that he was clearing the growth from covering the name of his dearly departed on the plaque on the wall. This image shows some lens flare, I hope, rather than evidence of a hole in the shutter curtain. What do you think? Lovely picture Pete The flare is nice for me ! I spent my dinner break using some secateurs to reach up to cut the highest stems of ivy to buy him some more time. On leaving the park I was struck by this tree. Very quiet and relaxing picture well reproduced by soft and nice color I wandered down to the harbour - the sight of the invasion, and finished the film. The harbour shot shows that patch of flare again. Nice flare Pete , not disturbing me Color is very nice Thank you for posting Best Henry
Doc Henry Posted August 28, 2017 Author Share #39113 Posted August 28, 2017 The old lighthouse from the harbour walls. Nice vanishing line and color Pete For someone who likes digital, he will find not too much vivid as color For me it's nice And the last frame, a fisherman resting on the steps of the lighthouse, taking a break from hovering around his rod. Nice portrait Thank you Pete Henry

Doc Henry Posted August 28, 2017 Author Share #39118 Posted August 28, 2017 Contre jour, 4th 4x5 frame, trip down memory lane. In midwestern youth, a couple years before reaching legal age, it is not uncommon to get that first taste of beer at a meeting spot in the cornfields. We used to congregate at a place called "the tree." This is several hundred miles north of where I lived when I was sixteen; it would not surprise me if local youths call this "the tree." img685.JPG Linhof Master Technika, 120mm 5.6 Rodenstock, HP5 Wayne is it the rural deep South ?
