Thank you both for your kind words. I wasn't intending to sound dramatic nor am I planning to pass into the dark side (as Henry put it :D ). I've just been pondering some recent photographs and thinking that I have been shooting too much on 'auto-pilot' – taking a lot of photographs without thinking about why I am doing so. There have also been a number of rolls that I have been dissatisfied with – both stuff that hasn't really worked out the way I had hoped (which is fine because that's how we learn) but also some poor choices of subject and light, etc. I also think I might have shot too much colour film. My "crossroads" is really just about changes to my photographic approach: shoot more black and white, possibly go back to 35mm as my primary focal length. Nothing major like buying an M10. :D

Ian - crossroads are interesting places.  I visited your website.  Your “commissioned-recent” are remarkable exposures on several levels - I was most taken with the level of exposure itself in the images (the clarity of the light), and the way you nailed focus on the critical item.  Were these all taken on film? and with manual focus?  If yes, I hang my head in shame

I’ve clicked through the others.  You do it all the time; the light suffuses the image. Think all you like.  Just keep doing it.

Your 35mm field of view seems very effective.  Ok, shoot more B&W, but don’t forsake the colour; your control of how the light illuminates things and their true colours drew me in.

I am very surprised for the color of Fufi C200

Very beautiful Klaus. It's cheaper than Superia and gives a very nice color

I'll try some rolls . I already purchased at Macodirect 20 rolls of Fuji Superia 200

Thank you Klaus

Very nice framing

I'm going to post a little story of my grandson's haircut.  All photos are with my M3, a Nokton 40, using HP5 pushed one stop.

The first shot was being picked up at school. This one is the ride in.
