Guest )-( Posted August 8, 2017 Share #37882 Posted August 8, 2017 Very vertiginous Henry, the framing is superb here. Another Kodak Portra 400 Have you vertigo ? For Gary Leica M7-35 Summilux Asph picture uncorrected Image3balkod400lfht++++1000.jpg Best Henry I love the second with the strong flow from the shaded foreground to the bright house in the background. Another two from Sunday morning's stroll around the Country Park. R5, 35mm Elmarit-R III, Neopan 400, Rodinal. 1) Truncated (close-up) 2) Lydiard Park Landscape Worked out well that your subject chose to look into the shutter problem, makes for a great moody shot in gorgeous fading light. Leica R-E and 50cron. Agfa Vista 200. Lazy slow shutter. Nature sets about the business of cleaning up this mess, well captured. Dying mall. Doc Henry Posted August 8, 2017 Author Share #37885 Posted August 8, 2017 Just got 6 rolls of color film back for the lab today. 4 E6 and 2 C41 - my first Portra 400. Looking forward to scanning them soon, but I have Row practice tonight and I will most certainly be tired when I return. It's been years since I have sent color film away to the lab...$12 a pop for the processing...yikes! I need to look into doing E6 and C41 at home. Also Rolleiflex came back from CLA Friday, so I look forward to putting some rolls through it, and I've still yet to shoot the borrowed 503. Maybe this week... busy busy! GN , go for C41 it's very easy , just important point maintain the temperature 38°C or 30°C constant during few minutes (3mn 30sec). E6 is a bit more long but same remark for temperature. Chris here does both The advantage : work well done , cheaper and can have your color roll even on Sunday (lab closed) Best Henry
Doc Henry Posted August 8, 2017 Author Share #37886 Posted August 8, 2017 (edited) I have two rolls of this film left. It is a true shame it was discontinued. I wonder if Acros 100, shot at 400, would be similar? I agree with Wayne Two great pictures Chris , picture 2 a bit romantic with rain drops Very nice black Best Henry Edited August 8, 2017 by Doc Henry

It works with Silverfast or Epson software . I prefer Epson scan software easier. Thanks Dan Henry

Popular Post Tiberius Posted August 8, 2017 Popular Post Share #37897 Posted August 8, 2017 Dear all, I just discovered this thread thanks to my friend "Doc Henry". What a lot of beautiful photos ! I use a Leica M6 TTL since 3 years after using a Leica R5 during 5 years). As I also use a Leica M8 and a Leica Q, I don't shoot a lot with my analogue camera (I am ashamed but I only used about 5 or 6 rolls during the 3 last years). I love my Leica M6 TTL but I meet difficulties for the scan and the post traitment. But Heny encourages me to persevere and when I see all the your images I think he is right !
