I've been shooting with the Rolleiflex a little more recently and playing with the Rolleinar 1 filter.

Color is wonderful Gary. Nice and soft tone of grey in the TX picture.

Gary which TX developer ?

R09 Henry, a Foma product I think. I always liked Rodinal, mainly as I could come back to a partly used bottle ages after I opened it, and as long as it flowed out of the bottle, it worked.

R09 is what I am able to buy locally, although I heard even this is getting difficult, such is the restriction on shipping liquids.

Might have to try a few new ones soon, I have some Iflord DD-X, mainly as I was thinking to use Ilford Delta 100 while in Europe. I also have a D-76 clone, again from Foma, so might test that too, or just get the real McCoy.

Gary for NZ it's better you purchase powder like Kodak D76

Even out of date (my case) it's still good

Sometimes great memories because it begins a long time we know

Gary... :)

... before I remind Gary likes only b&w and less color. I said him that life is so sad

if no color , color brought  more happiness to life ... and since I think he likes much color now

Am I right Gary ? :D ... but I think Gary still has a little preference for b&w :)

Thanks to all of you for your contribution and for the life of this thread

Great memories

I'm warming to colour Henry, but find the logistics of getting processing done a pain. And I have no desire to self process, not yet anyway.

I have been wandering in woods and found lilies, still thriving, marking the location of old homesteads where only crumbling stone foundations testify to the fact that a home, barn, or mill were once there. The lilies remain long after the cockroaches have moved off. These lilies were thriving alongside alongside a home in a pretty advanced state of decay. They made me stop and think. Magnificent.

Wonderful picture Henry, I hope you're taking more for us whilst you work in such a great building.

I'm enjoying all the architectural shapes in everyone's shots and the life springing up around them.

Of course I prefer the HP5 Henry, though both are very nice.

Thanks,

Richard

Jip a great step with the purchase of M-A :)  . All my congratulations

Technically speaking , picture has more consistance , look at the concrete block on the ground

Color is also nice with this brownish and "grainy" aspect (normal it's film) :)

Thank you

Henry

Here a picture shot with the Rolleiflex yesterday, film scanned by my wife and no correction at all. Ilford FP4, film officially "dead"  since  2003,  in Tetenal Paranol S, 1:90, stand develloped for 1 hour and five minutes.
