Henry,

Coming back to this one. Its unassuming and a nice observation of humankind - you seem to develop a strength in capturing these moments.

Best regards

Christoph

Man, been a while since I posted on this forum.

Started on digital (epson R-D1, leica M8, leica M9-P), then decided to pursue film for several reasons.  Don't regret the decision.  Have a black chrome M7 and a silver MP and love them both to death.

These are two of my favorite shots taken from a recent trip to Tokyo, JP.  Next is to start shooting B&W and making my own silver gelatin prints - saw one in person and it was something else!

Welcome Kertong to the film thread

Have also M8 and M9 but don't use them

Shoot only with M7 and MP more faithful in color and real black

Superb night pictures ... M7 works like M8 or M9 when you put on "A" Automatic option

and is the fastest camera for street photos (SP) night and day. I use like this for SP

Thank you for posting and if you have more night pictures, please post

On top of the white cliffs at Dover. Portra 400 and usual 28 Summaron-M. I didn't see when taking the photograph the outstretched arm of the figure in the middle – presumably imploring the figure running towards the cliff edge to stop. :)

Ha Ian , one of my favorite place for shooting and one of my favorite film Portra 400

Dover cliffs looks great and is like Calais Cliffs

The blue color of the Channel is superb , very special blue

and sometimes green , it depends on sky , sun and alga at this moment

Thank you

Yes, both cliffs are part of the same bit of chalk upland. The Calais cliffs don't look very far away at all on a sunny day, especially when photographed with even a modest telephoto lens. 90 Macro Elmar.

Looks like Eastbourne, Henry. :) Presumably taken before the fire a few years ago that damaged the pier quite badly.

Sublime Ian, as are the other ones you posted. The colours are fantastic. Did you expose at box speed or pull?

I'd venture a guess that SA means Eastman Kodak Double-X or 5222 as I lazily call it. It's a wonderful film.

Nice soft and black tone SA

What's XX ? :)

Thank you for posting

For a tallship fan like myself this is a lovely photo.
