I told this guy that if he really wanted to make a statement his sign should have Trump's bloody decapitated head on it.  I told him that the bar has now been set so high that anything less is just a nicety and ineffectual.  He told me that he couldn't draw.  I then told him that I'd bet he could find a illustration on the web that he could simply print out and glue to his sign.  He then told me that he couldn't afford to do that.  What he ended up with is basically an extremely low budget rant, which only caught people's eye for a fleeting second.  Could have been so much more.   I tried to help him.

Haha! Funny story and the photo is quite telling :) Love the portra color by the way. But where is the grain? Did you apply any grain reduction, Adam?

Thanks, Keith.  Whatever floats his boat.  Pounding sand is not my thing.  Photographing people pounding sand, now that's a different proposition all together!

At least he made the effort!  Well spotted and taken.

Really nice, Keith.  Nice and crisp.  Perhaps you could lighten up on the sharpening just a tad without losing any pf the crispness, which seems plenty inherent in the negative.

Ragwort - poisonous to horses & cattle.  Spot the bee!  Hasselblad 500C, Tessar 160mm CB, Tri-X.

Thanks, Eoin.  Will do!

I really like this series, Adam - Keep 'em coming.

Thanks, Edward.  I tend to get clean results from the Portra 400.  I don't find it a particularly grainy film.  slightly ETTR helps on this.

Dare I post another from Friday's roll of Tri-X (H500C, Tessar 160mm CB) ?  Oh, OK then - a view of the shoulder of Martinsel Hill on the Marlborough Downs.   :)

Very nice, Brendan.  Especially like the beach scene.

I believe I've posted these before, but I've been going through and re-scanning old negatives so I thought I'd post the newly edited versions.
