Doc Henry Posted June 24, 2017 Author Share #35081 Posted June 24, 2017 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) @ Henry: the same photo actually. But as I have to send it to the Forum thread via Computer, after scanning somehow reluctant baryte paper ( ;.) ) it possibly looses the quality it has when I look at it here on my wall. @ Henry, Neil Ramesh, Brendan, Steve and all: You guys shoot such great pics. In the evening when I get through the thread pages I actually want to say my admiration to all of You, distinctevely. But You're so fast :-) !!!! This morning, I develloped a film I shot with an Agfa Box from the beginning of the 1930. I'll come back to that in a couple of days. For the week-end, I grabbed out this photo that I took a long time ago - 1994 - I don't remember the film, scanned the photo but the camera most certainly was my wife's Konica Hexar. And the film develloper was - back then - Agfa Rodinal. Those were the decades of heavy motorcycling from on 1973 to 2010 - my kids on the side-car and my wife following on her solo machine, making the tour de France with humble MZ Sidecar and Suzuki GN 250. Jean-Marie Web.Tour de France.Alpes en moto 1995.jpg Nice and lovely picture Jean-Marie Great memories Thank you for posting and thank you for your nice comment Here in this thread, contributors are also great guys Henry Edited June 24, 2017 by Doc Henry

Guest NEIL-D-WILLIAMS Posted June 24, 2017 Share #35085 Posted June 24, 2017 No Neil and you're right . I mean only in my case 24x36 . Take photos with your Leica M , Neil ! Henry Henry My Leica M6 is in my mates shop for sale, I like the compactness of the M6 but I just hate the files I get out of it. I am enjoying playing with my LF cameras for now, I have a 4x5 enlarger coming and I will put that in my house in Thailand, as for the 8x10 I love playing with that but unless I only stick with contact prints (which are great fun to make) I will need to use a LF digital printer (I know you hate anything digital) to print anything bigger than 8x10 which for me is fantastic ............best of both worlds Neil
Guest NEIL-D-WILLIAMS Posted June 24, 2017 Share #35086 Posted June 24, 2017 Footy turn out as you expected Neil? You have that 8x10 humming. Gary Not really mate but it was a good game to watch Neil

Popular Post blackandwhite Posted June 24, 2017 Popular Post Share #35090 Posted June 24, 2017 As promised, I shot a roll of over the date Ilford film to test this funny vintage Agfa Box camera. At the start, I was pretty sure the result would be zero picture. See by yourself. Far from perfection, but still astonishing pics by this old simple yet venerable camera. Film is Ilford FP4, - officially good until Feb 2003 ;-) ... and as I am terribly used to TriX 400, I develloped it in HC110 dilution 1:63 for 9 1/2 minutes by mistake. B.Toews Posted June 25, 2017 Share #35094 Posted June 25, 2017 Excellent, Brendan. Especially the first. Thanks Adam! Hello Brendan, I like your August in Ontario photos. They are nicely done. Best Regards, Michael Thank you! Thankfully no snow right now, though there was definitely still snow in the northern end of the province at the beginning of May. Brendan, I like your carefully composed and exposed pictures. IMHO you make excellent use of the Ilford films and the inherent qualities of the Zeiss lens. Rgds C. Thank you Christoph! I purchased the Zeiss 50 Planar and 28 Biogon over this past winter, and am very happy with both! Brendan you are the b&w film expert Superb vanishing line in picture 1 Thank you Henry Thank you Henry! A couple more from the M6, taken earlier this spring.
