Another from Plaubel Roll-Op. 75mm 2.8 Anticomar, HP5.

It has a light leak, but I am enchanted by the rendering from this old 4.5x6, 120 folder. It is now off for repair. I cannot wait to mix up my first batch of E6 chemistry and put a roll of Velvia 50 through it.

great effort, Neil.  But me thinks the shadow-detail's dreams of appearing in its full glory have been "crushed" :)

I clicked on the link and enjoyed the history of this area, thank you Ian.

Hipster is good too, nice to see Portra 400 in general use, I am contemplating this film while in Europe in a few months.

Thanks Gary. Below is another stone circle, only a short walk away from the Kingston Russell circle. The Hampton Down Stone Circle is very neglected (and historically much messed around with) and now lies buried beneath the local flora. Even in winter, I can't recall there being anything much of note to see. You can see that the circle was placed in a fantastic location and must have been quite an atmospheric site in its heyday.

Portra 400 and 28 Summaron-M.

All my favourite colour shots from recently holidays turned out to be the Portra 400, lovely stuff. I like it for general use, preferring the Ektar for contrasty scenes (and lenses)

I prefer it to Fuji400 in 35mm, and I'm not aware of many (any?) other options for 400 speed colour film.

Kayak club at La Jolla, Portra 400.

I think that is correct. I bought quite a lot (by my standards)  of Portra 400 earlier in the year because I thought there might be some supply problems (it was largely out of stock throughout the UK). I thought it would last me ages but I've been shooting far more colour film than is usual for me and I'm down to my last 6-7 rolls. At £8 per roll it's quite an investment (for me at least) to stock up again but I like to think that, if I get even just a single photo that means something to me from each roll, it's well worth it.

I know of a parliament of rooks. Apparently a building of rooks is another collective term. Just outside Ludwell in Dorset. BW400CN (I have only 5 rolls of this stuff left) and 28 Summaron-M.

Fukase's Ravens meets Worzel Gummidge. :)

I like much Ian. Great composition and framing

The birds give a plus for this landscape

Very nice b&w picture.

I see it's BW400CN now stopped by Kodak

Thank you

My time is to limited to keep up with you. As always, there is so much to explore in this thread and I really love to flick through the pages and admire your work! Here is one from some weeks ago, using a lo-fi setup again:
