Back to one of my favorite spots for a sunrise... :)

SWC, Ektar

Adam, you certainly get the rewards for dragging yourself out of bed early! Your colours using Ektar are sublime - as are the viewpoints you choose and your mastery of technique - have you considered contacting Kodak to see if they'd consider using some of your pictures for promotional purposes?

The Valley of Stones NNR near Little Bredy in Dorset. In addition to the scattered sarsen stones (presumably left behind by glaciation), this is a remarkable place with its unimproved grassland, rich with local flora and fauna.

Portra 400 and 28 Summaron-M.

Heres another one of the Tea Plantation except this one is with the Chamonix 8x10..........I'm hoping this will make a nice contact print

Trix320 8x10

2 minutes and 15 seconds exposure

Devoured in D-76

Right on sunrise

This photograph leaps off the screen asking for attention... the careful composition and array of tones are rewarding when ones does that. I think it's fabulous. Neil, your persistence in developing your craft is certainly paying off.

Thanks

Charles

While on the subject of trains ... Taken in 1979...

Olympus OM1 - 50mm - Kodachrome 64

Another one from Llangollen, from the canal, looking across road, rail and river. Portra 400, 35 Summilux

Loving this little train sub-thread that Mike started!

Charles - that is a very dynamic, powerful train image with that immense plume of smoke, and Coogee has a subtlety to his, revealing the train as part of its milieu. Fantastic.
