A miller Posted May 14, 2017 Share #32555 Posted May 14, 2017 (edited) Thanks, Henry. I agree with you on the HP5 vs Tri-X difference. I was, though, expecting the Delta 100 to be a little smoother and finer in the grain. At least in the scans, it didn't turn out quite that way. Nice Adam. Do you agree with that HP5 and TX not the same rendering clearer with Ilford and a little more black in TX ? Thanks for posting Henry Gorgeous, Philip. I'd love to a "best of" collection of your floral series in a book and/or exhibit. Easter has come and gone but perhaps it's not too late for some yellow? I'll say it again, this rendition is like having your Velvia 50 cake and eating it too I'll bet the yellow didn't actually have that much reddish hues in it; but first of all who cares and second of all in this case the reddish hues add depth and richness... Flickr 80 Planar with extension rings Ektar 100 Thanks, Eoin. That's a "Wow!" from me, Adam. Very cool, Eoin. How did you get so high in these; where you in a helicopter? The big building on the right looks like the old Sheraton Hotel. But it doesn't seem to say that on the sign. I stayed in a Sheraton once a little down the river from the Oriental. ...and Bangkok in 1986 (Canon F1 New w/ FD 17mm - Kodachrome)... EoinC Posted May 14, 2017 Share #32557 Posted May 14, 2017 ...How did you get so high in these; where you in a helicopter? The big building on the right looks like the old Sheraton Hotel. But it doesn't seem to say that on the sign. I stayed in a Sheraton once a little down the river from the Oriental. From memory, it is the Oriental. The shot is from the King Taksin bridge which runs over to Wong Wien Yai, Thonburi. I lived over there (Soi Sanchao Ahniew) a couple of years after this, but these shots were after a trip to Isaan and a not-quite-legal hop across to Laos, when I was young and not-quite-sensible.

These are with the Hasselblad 30/5.6 on Ilford FP4 developed in HC110. All from northern Iceland.
