gbealnz Posted May 3, 2017 Share #31905 Posted May 3, 2017 Still have to get properly functioning film backs for the SWC... Ektar 100 Best, jM Yep, new seals time JM, but it's an easy fix, I've done the two backs I have, simple, and quite cheap. The first shot though, it has a nice effect. Not from a purist technical point of view, but a nice effect. Gary
gbealnz Posted May 3, 2017 Share #31906 Posted May 3, 2017 Some more yellow. Portra 160 in this case. I know that stuff, it's the stuff you exported to our fair land many years ago, and we've spent the rest of the time trying to eradicate it. GORSE. EoinC Posted May 3, 2017 Share #31913 Posted May 3, 2017 Eoin beautiful Have you extension tube ? Thanks for posting Henry Hi, Henry. I do have some somewhere, but did not use them for these. The ZE 135 can focus quite close. have a MP-E 65 Macro lens which I must take for a spin soon. So far I've only used it on my A7R, so it's time to see what it does to an emulsion.

GORSE. Gary That was exactly my thought, Gary. Straight away it brought back memories of a youth spent (partially, at least) clearing the gift from steep hillsides, and also one time I crashed my motorbike down a hill covered in gorse...when I was meant to be at school.

Guest JMF Posted May 3, 2017 Share #31919 Posted May 3, 2017 JM - looks like you need some new light seals. Chris Yep, new seals time JM, but it's an easy fix, I've done the two backs I have, simple, and quite cheap. The first shot though, it has a nice effect. Not from a purist technical point of view, but a nice effect. Gary Yes, thanks, I had a first repair done but with DIY seals, some proper Hasselblad seals will be put soon ! stray cat Posted May 4, 2017 Share #31920 Posted May 4, 2017 Hi film friends, I've been away for a while on unexpected and urgent matters of a personal nature and haven't been able to keep up with this most excellent thread. What looked like a very bad situation turned out well in the end but I'll admit to being left somewhat chastened by the matter. Anyway, I'm back now, and will try to reconnect as best I can over the next few weeks. I've visited when I've been able and been very impressed by the continuing high standard of pictures posted here that were shot on FILM. If I haven't said "thanks" or commented on so may pictures, please accept my apologies. In the meantime, I'd invite you to check out the Australasian One Challenge thread, where there is a competition about to start. Some of the contributors to this thread have a picture there and it makes an interesting look. I was able to enter a picture before the dam walls burst and I had to go to America. It is interesting, too, to note the different approaches of the participants and of course there are pictures shot on both digital and film. Cheers and best regards to you all, and thank you to those of you who have been so supportive at this time.
