I was cleaning up my Trip 35 today (my first real camera, a Christmas present when I was ~14) and I thought to myself it would suit Adam's street shots. Zone focus, auto exposure and pretty small and light. 40mm/f2.8. From my first roll of Fujichrome that Christmas:

My God, I had forgotten those curtains! I certainly took a lot of unmemorable photos then, as now. You should try one out.

Gary,

I also tried to PM, but could not.

During my time in service with US Navy, I resided in Dunoon Scotland for a period of time. My landlady, a Mrs. Dunn, was an antiques collector. One day she gave me a volume of poems by a Robert Sterling, who died in service to the King during WWI. I have always cherished the book because of one short poem, written by R.S. while in the trenches, about the passing of a beloved mate:

" I will sing no dirge for thee
Now, or for all time to come.
  Your silence leaves me dumb."

My apology if this message seems inappropriate. I have never been good with bereavement. I wish you and yours comfort in the difficult time to come.

Best

Wayne

Spectacular, Henry. A beautiful shot!

Thank you Eoin :)

My favorite type of shot (and I am like Ian)  picture taken "against light"

I cannot shoot with my digital camera because all the details in foreground is black :)

with film this is possible in the majority of cases !

It is the Mekong in the dry season, before the Chinese dams put paid to the natural seasons.

Eoin, this is the Chinese policy with consequences for the catastrophic downstream population

and China do not think to others but only to her !

Very nice . I'll try again next time with one TX roll

Just to post this link for you , in case you want spare parts of Leica ,Rollei ,Canon ....cameras

I notice in some Leica M , sold in second hand , it often lacks plugs for flash

It's useful to prevent dusts going inside the camera !... and also red dot for Leica cam.

Hope link useful for you :)
