Advertisement Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 Hi gsgary, Take a look here I like film...(open thread). I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
chrism Posted April 16, 2017 Share #30822 Posted April 16, 2017 (edited) I did a stupid thing today, but the chemistry gods looked after me. It's probably about six weeks since my last C-41, and I mixed up the time for colour developer and blix, and realised just after starting the blix. So this film had 6.5 minutes in the CD, and somewhere between 6 and 7 in the blix. The negatives looked dark - the mask is brown rather than orange, but the incredible thing is that they scanned quite nicely. Obvious magenta tint, most of which disappeared with FlexColor's auto-correct. In LR just about -5 green tint and tone down the magenta saturation. They did not go grainy, but are quite saturated which was actually an improvement on my usual experience with Superia 400 on dull cloudy days. I guess I shan't worry overmuch about tipping the colour developer out exactly at 3.5 minutes in future! M2, Lux 50, Superia 400, Unicolor presskit, X1 scans: I.O.O.F. by chrism229, on Flickr Only lived here 31 years and I never noticed the skull on Main Street before! Brake Linkage by chrism229, on Flickr Interesting how the vertical movement is converted to horizontal with a chain around a hinged quadrant. The Shelves of Shame by chrism229, on Flickr It rained on me so I had to finish the film indoors and the cat wasn't interested. C. stray cat Posted April 17, 2017 Share #30830 Posted April 17, 2017 Now, this is my idea of great street photography. Ever notice how stray dogs, no matter what they are doing, always seem to be having a great time of it? Thank you most kindly, Wayne. Yes stray dogs (like certain stray cats) have a way of enjoying themselves in the street. And Elliott Erwitt identified French dogs in particular as those that always seemed to have the most fun!

Tmx Posted April 17, 2017 Share #30836 Posted April 17, 2017 Not sure which kind of reader I have in my M7 model - the old one or the LED based one. It's easy to check. If you see the copper "sensors" inside the M7 it's the old one and you can use it for IR. My M7 is loaded with film at the moment so I can't provide a picture
