More velocipedes. This time with T-Max 400 (SWC Action Cam)...

I love this. It just shows that someone really knows how to use the creative tool in their hands! Expertly shot with everything right, the space into which the cyclists are riding, the angle. Great shot [emoji1303]

I certainly don't blame you for thinking that but we were really close. Our vehicle was a only a few metres away but the lion didn't mind at all. Who would with such a feast at one's paws?

This is with 400mm (using the extender). Sadly I must have got the shivers from his stare because this one isn't as sharp as it could have been. Still I like it.

Thanks, Christopher.

I was hoping to get the sweeping flow of the track perimeter in (missed out on the top left corner).

You/we need to teach him how to use the bubble level though. :D

ha, ha, very funny.  But I actually think the "distortion" (which is not meant in any derogatory way) adds to the head-spinning effect :)

Thanks, Adam. The negative is actually pretty crappy - A mix of dead developer and cactus fixer (and not paying attention) turned out bland grey, with no clear shadows or dark highlights. When I dragged some contrast out of it, the T-Max produced grain, and looks much more like Tri-X.

"Ladies and gentlemen, this concludes our press briefing into our investigation as to why the hell we had an epic blizzard in the middle of March.  We thank Adam Miller for his excellent reportage on this matter and for bringing to our attention the humanitarian impact that this event has caused.  No further questions will be taken at this time......"

This one is very cool. It has an almost Tron-like light cycle 2D effect.

The second one is brilliant Gary. You pressed the shutter at a perfect moment.

What a strong, powerful image! If this IS in fact the conclusion of the series (for this year at least??) it is ending on an extremely strong note.

More lions, this time slightly more "romantic" than the previous ones. According to our Masai guide this couple had recently mated. Apparently the male will shadow the lioness for around a week to ensure that no other lion interferes with her. We observed them for quite a while and the male really did shadow her, literally mimicking her every move at very close proximity to her. On the second one the autofocus seems to have locked on the grass but I think the blur adds to the romantic feel of the image (1N 200/2.8L+2x Ektachrome 200).

Hi Gregor and Phil - OMG, what have I done!  Leading you to believe that my series for this season is finished!  And how could I have blown the obvious opportunity to use this photo and message to punctuate the eventual conclusion of the series.  I have blown it big time!!  I would make a terrible Hollywood director!!  Woe is me!  No, I still have a ways to go.  But I may just have to bring our public investigator back for the grand finale!
