Apologies for my absence of posts over the last 2 weeks. After external systems audits at work my immune systems always take a dive and this time I have been quite unwell. But, since I am getting fit again here is a link that some of you may like. Bellamy Hunt has this book article on his website at the moment regarding films, old and new stock.http://www.japancamerahunter.com/2017/03/film-news-flavr/#.WLfTWcFzH-4.facebook I've just downloaded it to my mobile.

Amazing shots from everyone lately- when I have been awake and not in too much pain they've kept me going. Thank you. Now I have 3 films on the go that need shooting- at last.

Memories of a late spring heat wave at Aberavon beach. My daughter looking very rosy after a day of fresh air and consuming a very indulgent ice cream. Roll-on springtime I definitely need some warmer weather now.

Shop processed and scanned to a very low standard in an hour at ASDA Swansea (Walmart). Nikon F3, Ektar 100, 50/1.2.

I never got around to rescanning this film, perhaps I need to pull it out, there seem to be some nice shots that are just covered by dust.

Kind regards

Christopher

Some rodeo action with M/F no less.

Likely my ETRSi, and a 150 lens.

Wow Gary, even with the 150mm lens that looks too close for comfort! That's quite a setup for a rodeo shot, not sure I'd have considered taking a Bronica with medium tele to such an event. Very brave and nice shot too.

Wayne, if Henry were around he would love this contre jour shot, but he has been conspicuous by his absence over the last 12 hours or more. Great presence of light and depth in your shot gives it a three dimensional feel.

Kind regards

Love the feeling of place in the photograph, Wayne, sun streaming through the trees picking up the details. Oh and the tones are sublime!

Thanks

Charles

Thank you for the comment.

I have searched Ohio Valley in USA...........No Henry. How about others? Has anybody seen him? :)

For Henry, for obvious reasons. Rather overexposed, but somehow I like the effect. Curious as to what you think?

I like the idea Christoph, but i think you mean underexposed. I like the reflections in water.
