Doc Henry Posted January 31, 2017 Author Share #27341 Posted January 31, 2017 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Some photos from Bangkok.. Leica M6, Summilux 35 1.4, Ultramax400 kodak400_16.jpg kodak400_24.jpg kodak400_26.jpg From the last image, I believe that the focus is off, or something about the shutter speed that was used. I had not CLA'ed the camera prior to using it, and think of this as an error in my part of the machine. Am I correct to assume so? The sharp images are due to the deep depth of field afforded by the sun. Asap , I do not notice anything abnormal if it's the blur on the sides in the last photo the other two are also a bit blurry . May be the effect of the 35 lens which is also a beginning of wide angle, especially when you have straight lines and other geometry on the side I think your M6 is fine. Color of Kodak Gold is superb Thanks for sharing Henry Edited January 31, 2017 by Doc Henry

gnuyork Posted February 1, 2017 Share #27349 Posted February 1, 2017 Well, this camera is about 60 years old and you never know... but if everything can be moved without much force, everything seems to be ok. You know, that this model has a EV- Coupling- mechanism? First you set the EV- Value on the left dial (front sighted) and then you can lock this EV- value with turning the inner part of the right dial. Now you have a mechanical P-Mode aas shutter speeds and f-stops moving togehther ;-) And don´t forget about the film- sensing-mechanism when loading the camera. But its all written in the manual. Klaus, yes, I understand this is the an EV model. I did look at the manual (briefly) to understand how it works, however your clarification of the Ev setting on the left dial is something I didn't fully realize until you mentioned it. Thanks.

Doc Henry Posted February 1, 2017 Author Share #27357 Posted February 1, 2017 oops .... I agree with Adam. The "soft" side of line (of the faces) is the "advantage" of film No agressivity when you watch this lovely picture ! film brings a plus to highlight the two portraits.
