Maybe more a general Question to everyone – when you are abroad – do prefer taking back the rolls and develop them your self or give them to a lab – or do you prefere to get them developed lokaly in order to avoid the hassle at airport(s) – just curious.

Andreas - I generally will wait until I get home to develop and try my best to have the film hand-scanned.

This past summer I was in Israel for 9 weeks and toiled over all of the slide film that I shot and convinced myself that I needed to have it developed soon.  So I befriended a lab in Tel Aviv and they ultimately developed my 100 or so rolls of all type of film and formats (35mm and 120).   The results were not quite the same as what I am used to in NYC but it worked out

yes, great reds in each of your photos - very similar rendition of the reds.  Earthy yet not too warm.  Nice.

Suede - do you recall what film?

Adam,

I hold my tongue between my teeth ... it could have been Vista 400...

Apologies for being vague.

Thanks for your insights – I usaly take them home and get them developed in a lab.

In TLV I have a lab at hand – a befriended one ;-) – named Panda Lab – though I'm not sure wethere they are still in operation – in cases i go there the last day of my stay – hand them the films and they develope and do some preview scans and send it to me in batches – worked well so far.

These are great, Adam.

(As an aside, this is the kind of light where IMO Portra 400 really seems to shine and makes it worth the £8 a roll it now costs here.)

More Ian please, I love this kind of contre-jour (backlight) :)

The color is wonderful , very pleased to watch with no agressivity for my poor eyes.

The definition is outstanding we can see the grass frozen !

Thanks.

Finally you purchased the new Summaron ?
