Doc Henry Posted January 27, 2017 Author Share #26963 Posted January 27, 2017 Thank you very much, Phil! Yes, it works flawlessly for hours at -10°C to -15°C. Wondering if the shutter speeds would be accurate anymore, but no problem at all. Klaus , I am sure it still works for a long time ! and no line in the middle like on the M240 at only minus 1 and 2°C (already posted above) http://www.summilux.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=81009 Henry

Maybe more a general Question to everyone – when you are abroad – do prefer taking back the rolls and develop them your self or give them to a lab – or do you prefere to get them developed lokaly in order to avoid the hassle at airport(s) – just curious.
samsheb Posted January 27, 2017 Share #26967 Posted January 27, 2017 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm really enjoying your set of photos from Morocco. I prefer the black & white ones I was there in 2014, shot both Kodak Porta 160 and Tri-X film with my M6 and 35mm summicron lens only. Thank you. I have been simular equiped – I had Kodak Portra and Tri-X and maybe some Tmax with me – pushed some of these – but I'm too lazy too look it up :-) Edited January 27, 2017 by samsheb

Andreas , if you can (and you can) develop yourself it's better , cheaper and good work no scratches (in my case with Tetenal C41 process less than 2 Euros versus lab 8 Euros). If not , give to a serious lab for developtment and scan. Keep your film rolls inside the Domke bag against X ray security door like me, film will be safe, film must travel with you in cabine. Good memories for you I think Not sure that our digital pictures can go through the time like this ! Thanks for posting Phil Henry Dear Henry, you can be pretty sure that in 10 years most of our dataformats or volumes are replaced, unreadable or gone. stray cat Posted January 27, 2017 Share #26976 Posted January 27, 2017 Yes Ektar 25 was absolutely breathtaking film, especially in a Hasselblad on 120 - what colours! Unfortunately, there are many many colour films I miss - but it makes the decision to concentrate (almost) exclusively on black and white so much easier I guess.
