Phil great memories for me this car picture

It's Oldsmobile I think

Henry

Thank you so much Henry, and for all of you who looked at my pictures.

No, Henry, it's an Australian-designed and built Holden, from the local General Motors company. This car was built in 1960. Sadly, after many successful (and taxpayer subsidised) years General Motors, Toyota and Ford will all cease production of vehicles in Australia in 2017, with massive losses of jobs. So this picture is certainly a reminder that great designs, good, reliable products and the good years don't last forever.

Mike , you can work pictures on your iPad ?  enough memory for photo software in your iPad ?

Henry

I edit my photos on my Macbook, and then they get uploaded to smugmug. When I share them I'm usually using my iPad. I download them from smugmug, resize them using an app, and then share them onto the forum from the camera roll. I'm just being lazy. I should resize them on my laptop :)

Best low-light colour = Kodachrome! This is another KM (Kodachrome 25) shot taken in low light back in 1980. It's still acutely sharp and at magnification the detail is amazing:

Dougga, Tunisia, 1980

Canon F1, FD 24mm SSC lens, KM

No lost of definition and color after 36 years !

Good memories for you I think :)

Not sure that our digital pictures can go through the time like this !

Thanks for posting Phil

Fotoklaus - the snow series is outstanding. The Rolleiflex looks very much at home in those beautiful German forests!

Thank you very much, Phil! Yes, it works flawlessly for hours at -10°C to -15°C. Wondering if the shutter speeds would be accurate anymore, but no problem at all.
