These are from my college daze:

I think this was with a Canon Elan IIe with a 50 1.8 lens  - most likely TMax 100 in D-76

Trailer Trash

And this one was actually from my high school daze  - shot with a Minolta SRT 201 and a 50mm lens with most likely Plus-X (but could be Tri-X) developed in D-76

Thats why I still keep my Hasselblad 500 C.  :p

...  and you're right

I shoot film , but I keep informing myself on the evolution of sensors

Why Leica and other brands continue to replace their model every 2 to 3 years

Agree it is for sale to make a profit, and why it always continues...

Some say the M10 Cmos sensor is better than the M240  ...

In any case, we are witnesses  of this race (pixels, isos etc ...) for all brands

Personally the current sensor with the monolayer of RGB square pixels is not satisfying

and still gives “imperfect” images (skin magenta) .  There are beautiful colors

certainly but if we compare to film , it is not that !

Watch color photos of Adam and you'll see what I mean !

Back to Jerusalem and the wonderful colors from the market on film...

M-A, 28mm elmarit pre-asph, Portra 400

These fruits (except for the mangos in the top right) are all from cacti.  I bought them on a regular basis.  They have very subtle sweetness but are loaded with antioxidants - and colors :)

What a cracking photograph. Like the man looking out to the subjects of your shot and that lovely sky.

At last on Saturday afternoon just gone I had a few hours to spare and headed for the Gower coast some 40 minutes drive from Neath to a small village called Southgate. There is a coastal walk there which is always picturesque. But this is our winter and it was 5°c and the ground was muddy and in part covered by broken sheets of ice from the previous night. By the time I got there was just one and a half hours of daylight left. Here's just a small taste of a rare clear sunny Welsh sky in winter bathing our coast with its golden glow.

Tonight a few shots showing the spectrum of light during that time. All taken with Leica M6 TTL on Kodak Portra 400 developed in Tetenal Sunday afternoon.

Should have said first two shots taken with the Voigtländer 75mm Heliar Classic and the last one with the 35/2.4 Summarit-M.
