Thanks, Henry. On this particular roll of film that's as much contrast as I can get. In using stand development with Rodinal, the lab made a mistake and developed two rolls in a 600ml tank — that does not give enough Rodinal (you need 3.5–5.0ml per roll) in a 1:100 dilution. Therefore, the negatives were so underdeveloped that they could never be printed using an enlarger. The Lightroom histogram shows just a narrow "blip". It was very difficult to get even this contrast range: even tiny movement of the Black and White or Exposure or Contrast sliders would make huge changes in the image and blow it out in one direction or the other.

Why are they stand developing ? Best way to get contrast with Rodinal is develope at 1+50

Looks like a good party indeed :)

I have never liked those seasonal, inflatable yard ornaments; but when they start drinking to excess, they become just plain obnoxious.

I like them all Brendan. Nos 2 and 4 are very Berengo Gardin, but my absolute fave is no 1 which is a truly sterling shot.

It is a German tape recorder, reading the bands in both directions.
You can see the two electromagnets at the top and middle, which trigger when the magnetic

tape reel ends and did change the direction of the tape rotation.
The bottom reading head is double (playback head + recording head)  for this reading in

both directions.

Contre jour walk in the woods, Fuji GW690III, Foma 400 developed in Rodinal 1+25

Sorry it's been so long since i posted something every time i go out with the camera it is always dull or my mojo has gone

but also bought a new record deck and phono amp and been remembering how much better vinyl sounds compared to CD

also treated myself to some top notch headphones made by Bowers and Wilkins so i don't annoy the wife with Black Sabbeth

Not a contrast issue. The first time I tried stand development was last March, when I had exposed at ISO400 and ISO1600 on the same roll of Tri-X. When I saw saw the results I liked how the highlights were rendered in the exceedingly bright and harsh light at noon, in which  I often shoot in Thailand. Still like it.
