Henry asked for more contre-jour pictures. This one is not contre-jour per se, but I think illustrates what Henry was talking about, the ability of film to render detail in both shadow and strong sunlight:

Yes Phil exactly what I and Ian said , diificult to have details in foreground when you shoot in "contre-jour".

I like the "natural" grain of the skin by film . Thanks for posting

Lazy New Years Eve, off to bed soon, have a decent day of flying so need to bright eyed and bushy tailed.

Wanted to scan some colour to throw Henry off the scent, but could not locate the negs, so will have to settle for a couple on B&W of the same subjects.
