Advertisement Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 Hi stray cat, Take a look here I like film...(open thread). I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Doc Henry Posted December 30, 2016 Author Share #25302 Posted December 30, 2016 I understand your regrets. On one hand filing down the cam gives the Summicron DR a life in the digital age. On the other hand I personally really like the close focus abilities in combination with the soft rendering of the Summicron DR. So even it it will not fit on the M's with inbuilt meter - analogue or digital, I think I refrain from neutering the lens. A quick example of what I mean below: 161209_1_M3_0018.jpg M3, 50DR, Polypan-F, ns Rgds C. It looks very nice this picture Christoph Superb definition and tone ! Rg. Doc Henry Posted December 30, 2016 Author Share #25314 Posted December 30, 2016 (edited) Like Ian (Wattsy) , I voluntarily choose the "contre-jours" , and I photograph them with my two M (digit and analog) to see who can photograph this direct light in keeping all the details and color (intact) in the shadows. If you have backlight photos , please post them . Thanks Contre-jour 8 Normandie Nov 2016 Kodak Portra 160-Leica M7-35 Summilux Asph Welcome, dear visitor!
