I found some 30 year old negatives today - As good a present as I could ask for. 1986...

Eoin I like the imperfection of the last photos giving a unique character to the pictures.

Sharing a few more from the wonderful Mehane Yehuda market in Jerusalem (the "shuk")....

 

Mixing in some of the painted stall doors (which the artist of the market-wide project has told me are the absolute best that exist, to which I replied "dah"), food for sale and people watching.... :)

My impression may be wrong but pictures with your M-A is deeper in color

contrast better

Amazing ! I like much the last picture with the child who watch you

Thanks, Henry.  I think you might be picking up on the fact that the Portra was pushed and if anything slightly underexposed due to needing more speed and so the result is increased contrast.  :)
