In comparison , curiously the M8 (160 Isos) still has some color in the shadows in contre-jour photos .

I like "pure" picture and I don't like to convert color in b&w  :)

Being prompted by numerous uploads of very nice shots taken on Portra, here's a low resolution scan of a frame from my first Portra 400 (new), rated as 200 and exposure measured on incident light, with Hasselblad and 80mm Planar.

Paul I think MF brings a plus to film by additional clarity.

Nice color of Kodak Portra

as I see in this table , MF in film beats widely digital MF in Pixels like IQ180 !
