A few weeks ago, an old battered Nikkormat FT with a 1.4/50 lens found a new home (with me).

It's quite a brick to lug around, and it has it's quirks. Stopped down a bit the lens is quite sharp.

Anyway here an autumn impression. The film is the Eagle 640 again, now unfortunately not

available any more, originally developed for traffic surveillance purposes, but here depicting

autumn colours at their best.

And in order for you to also see the performance of the lens at 1.4, here a view of a typical Dutch

bicycle. A lot of bikes here are owned by students, are quite old, have changed hands (legally or

illegally) a few times, and are impossible to find amongst the hundreds of other bikes parked at

the railway station. So what you see is a high level of customisation as in the specimen that I

photographed.

Thanks Henry,

Yes, it took some time for me to get used to the film but in the end I quite like it - and now I can't get it any more  :(

Anyway, the colour reproduction of the leaves I thought was excellent.

Have a good day!

Thanks very much, Gentelmen.

This was me trying to salvage a morning shoot in which my weather app lied to me once again and told me there would be clouds.

Neil - Happy belated birthday, BTW.  The most use I've gotten out of Facebook in the couple weeks that I've been on it

Outstanding color Adam with nice reflection.

Thanks for posting

yes, Henry.  The film seems to enhance the red not only in reds, but in oranges, yellows and purples - basically anything color that has red in it.

Good day for ducks and umbrella sellers (SWC / Tri-X)...

Eoin all your rainy series are superb in b&w !

These two last also are great. Droplets of rain water are in relief on my Eizo screen !

Incredible and the edges and lines look very "soft" , important for me,the opposite in digit.

Someone who was shooting digital and who now shoot film :)

Thanks for sharing
