philipus Posted November 25, 2016 Share #24222 Posted November 25, 2016 Great shots, esp the first one. Love the abstract composition. Bit more Ektar from the beach this winter passed. Truly excellent Klaus, very well caught. Rolleiflex 3,5C, Tmax 400, D76 1:1 3,5C_LagoM_013.jpg In a small village at the Lago Maggiore
A miller Posted November 25, 2016 Share #24223 Posted November 25, 2016 Adam, Having actually taken some more time to review your website, what strikes me is that you employ a very natural and unforced perspective, or at least that is the effect of the perspective you choose. I consider it an indicator of a very fine artist that your images are incredibly satisfying to view, and easy to appreciate. Perhaps it is because your style suits my view of aesthetic appeal. In any event, the work is beautifully cohesive, and flows in a very nice evolutionary style that also captures your development as a photographer. I suspect you have sensed that, and that is why the timing is right for an "exhibition" in the electronic media. My desire to see your images in a book is also a reflection of the appeal that the analog medium holds for me, and I suspect many others. I would be very proud to display your book in my home as a sign of my good taste, as well as a display of yours. Regards, J The use of thumb-nails for each category works well as one is immediately given an overview, rather than have to click/scroll through full-screen images. Good, clean overall layout devoid of annoying screen-trickery All in all, the site is a pleasure to visit and best of luck with your print-sales, Adam. You're very welcome Adam, your photos and your dedication have always been a source of inspiration ! Thank you very much, Gentlemen. I sincerely appreciate the time you took to look and report back. All the very best, Adam
A miller Posted November 25, 2016 Share #24224 Posted November 25, 2016 Another two from Wed's 2nd test roll of Tri-X through my H500C / Planar 80mm f2.8. High-contrast treatment:- Trying the lens wide-open:- I like the second one a lot, Keith. The high contrast works well and the focus on the bark with the compressed background is very good. Hope you solved the problem you were having with the lines on your Hassy negs...

Best Henry Amazing photos, Henry. The tones in the first B&W and the painterly rendition with utterly sublime blues and greens in your next post are your signature. A miller Posted November 25, 2016 Share #24226 Posted November 25, 2016 Opera in Zürich (Rolleiflex 3.5F and Fuji Acros 100) Zürich by Dirk Raffel, auf Flickr Very crisp, as usual, Dirk. It may be me but you may want to check the leveling. The details in the contrast in the wood planks int he foreground are also eye catching.

otto.f Posted November 26, 2016 Share #24238 Posted November 26, 2016 A Miller I visited your website. Your work is fantastic. The shot of the painter in the long coat painting with his back to the camera should be in an Art Museum. Cheers Dan I agree Adam, and I think you should change your avatar because it communicates as small as it is, a whole different feeling of you and your work than you probably are having seen your website now.
