Very nice, Neil. The blue comes through well, highlighted by the red contrast.

The actual color of this film is very accurate to what I saw. In PP I just added a little contrast.

I'm on the way back to the rig now, I've got a bunch more pictures to work on when I get back :) :)

Have a good hitch, Neil. I'm glad Bang Bang Geng turned the films around in time for you.

Sept & Oct was spent meandering around France and Spain - regrettably with not too much in the way of film shot.  However, today I developed the one (!) roll of Acros 100 put through my M7.  The image below is with my C-Sonnar 50mm.

Same camera, lens, film etc as #23602.

PS - at some point I may try to view all the posts I've missed whilst being on my travels - no promises though!

Same camera, lens, film etc - even the same location (near Coulon in the Venise Verte area of western France).

Neil - those Ektar colours in your India series certainly pack a punch. A fantastic set.

Hmm, should I try a roll of it in my GW690???

Keith this is my first time snorting Ektar and I like it a lot. I shot 16 rolls of it and six rolls of Tmax 100, I still have many to post once I get around to it.

He did that mate :)

Did you have any luck with your scanner? I'm convinced it's a software thing as my scanner started playing up again and all I did was force quit Vuescan open Silver fox and scan three negs. Went back to Vuescan and all was good again.

Anyway hopefully you get it fixed soon.

There's nothing special about this photograph, except it was the first one I took with an old Ihagee plate camera I found in my collection recently, I don't even remember where I got it.

Ihagee Ultra Duplex fitted with a Suydam 120 film back. Zeiss 10.5 cm lens. Ilford HP5

This is the camera

Using the camera was an experience, I need to develop a procedure to be sure I don't miss a step. I love the ability to shift the lens on it.

It does have one tiny light leak in the bellows, I will take care of that before I run another roll of film through it.

Wow......... you shouldn't have shown me that :)

Only a matter of time before you go large format (at least 4x5....inches).  Once you've decided to haul a lot and use a tripod anyway, you might as well go for the big negs. Then you'll really go nuts over your prints.

Yep, it's a nice compact 120 film system. :) However, it takes time to shoot, composing with the ground glass screen is tough, but it is a lot of fun. Next time out I may try it just using the viewfinder and not use any of the shift options.

Yeah, I'm agonizing over going back to 35mm for a trip this coming weekend, those 120 negs are just so nice. :)
