Xenia Posted October 27, 2016 Share #23266 Posted October 27, 2016 Very lovely scene....I like the way the white/grey in the boats and red flowers pop from the darker landscape/water. Thank you very much, Marc! I don't want to distroy your illusions, but the 'flowers' are actually floats Even if the thought of flowers is very appealing too Best, Xenia

gsgary Posted October 27, 2016 Share #23271 Posted October 27, 2016 Beautiful, and different Xenia. So relaxing and full of charm; man and beast in the fog; a feeling of total trust and care. You guys are so inspiring; just ordered more film. Now to find the subjects... gsgary Posted October 27, 2016 Share #23272 Posted October 27, 2016 Your love for film is well known, Henry Most of my work is done on film and I love film too. (The pano project is shot on Fuji Sensia and Velvia.) But I have to draw a fine line between private and pro work. I am not a fan of digital. My M9 had to go again. I have tried the Hassy H4D40 and the CFV50 and didn't like these either. But not because of bad results, but because of ergonomics. Right now, I have a dilemma. I am preparing an exhibition, but the 24x65mm panos print only up to 35x90cm. The gallery want to put bigger prints on their walls. That is why I have been looking at the new X1D and its ability to shoot pano. The print from these panos would be in the region of 50x130cm. The gallery would be satisfied. But would I be? There is another option. I was recently in Berlin and had a look at the Linhof Technorama 612. The negatives would be 6x12 cm and stunningly to print. The price for both cameras is about the same. But there is a catch: size and weight. The Linhof 612 and 617 are monsters to carry over uneven grounds. They need a sturdy tripod. They produce only 4 or 6 pics per roll. The cost of film and development will be a heavy burden. As will be paper and printing, not to think of framing. Would I love printing these slides? Oh yes But I clearly need a sherpa, if I follow my love for film. Best Xenia Have you looked at the Fuji, not sure if it is the same camerahttps://luminous-landscape.com/fuji-g617-review/ Sent from my SM-G903F using Tapatalk

The Fuji is even bigger and none of the two are in production any more. The Linhof is smaller and has a darkslide. Also, I can still send it to Munich for repair, if needed. After visiting my SWC photos again (thanks to Eoin) I really feel for the Linhof. These big negatives and slides are addictive. Thank you for your support Best wishes, Xenia

Guest )-( Posted October 27, 2016 Share #23276 Posted October 27, 2016 What look ! well done Coogee. Is with your 21 mm ? Difficult light condition for this picture Rg Henry Thanks Henry. With the Leitz/Schneider 21mm f/3.4 Super-Angulon. The rear element protudes too deeply into the camera for metering, so it tends to be 'Sunny 16' with it (a part of why I enjoy using this lens I think.) blackandwhite Posted October 27, 2016 Share #23277 Posted October 27, 2016 I've just dismanteled and entirely rebuilt after cleaning it a Meopta Magnifax II. So I have two classic quality enlageurs for the two formats my wife and I am going to work with...and a little upgrade from Krokus and Meopta 35mm enlarger. I have to post a pic my wife shot - she does grat work for years and being quite a shy person, she never is around on Forums... This one she shot in Italy ( Cinque Terra, Elmar 3:5 M-mount, February 2016. Leica M4, Kodak 4oo TriX ) Welcome, dear visitor! A miller Posted October 28, 2016 Share #23279 Posted October 28, 2016 (edited) Any Israeli or frequent traveler to Israel will know well the "Azrieli Center," which is a cluster of three office buildings in downtown Tel Aviv. One building is circular, on is triangular and one is rectangular. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Azrieli_Center#/media/File:Azriely_Center.jpg Here is an upward view from the middle of the cluster Tri-X SWC Welcome, dear visitor! A miller Posted October 28, 2016 Share #23280 Posted October 28, 2016 (edited) Not being quite satisfied with the composition of the upward view, I took a double exposure and rotated the camera before the second exposure. Me like a lot better Tri-X SWC Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members!
