The more I see Your pics, the more I like this place. Henry gets me by the feelings when posting Theo side by side to Vincent. Christoph's Storm is beautiful, Mark Tauber superb, johnnyboy's friend's pics are charming - remembering me albums from my Youth... and the whole series with daughter, niece - wow.

I can post this maybe - a portrait I shot from Gery Oth, a photographer and a friend of mine , at a show of his works.

Same Leica IIIf body from 1955, same Elmar 3:5  uncoated from 1936, same 400 TX from Kodak.

Have a nice week-end,

Jean-Marie

The next feature along the highway connecting Jerusalem and Tel Aviv that I would like to showcase are the WATERMELONS!  Thousands of them!  So cool!

The first is from the side of the highway to simply show just how close the watermelon patches were, along with some of the other features of the landscape.

The second and third are up for solicitation of favorites and critiques....

Just a couple of weeks after I took these the melons were harvested and the ground become barren like they were never there...

Very nice, Gary. There is an opening scene in one of the film interpretations of a Dickens novel (David Copperfield?) with families living in overturned boats on the English Coast. I would love to see the area where you shot this.

All this old motorsport, it had me digging a few old Tri-X negs out, from my youth.

2 more from the same roll, i was in a panic today took out the M4P fitted with my favourite lens 35mm color scopar and the lens was wobbling when i got home i got the screw drivers out and luckily there was a ring i could see that was loose so i tightened it and everything was ok, that saved me some money because i would have bought my first Leica lens

Exactly, just found these old slides... had to scan them ! We were dreaming of joining the Scottish Six Days Trial ...

No wonder I'm an old lens fanatic now !
