Your SWC images are tempting me to break out my 40mm Distagon but currently can't even hold a Hasselblad because of a broken wrist. Yikes, Erl, i am so sorry to hear abour your wrist. As a photographer i am sure that it is doubly annoying! Thanks for your comment. And i'd love to see examples from your 40mm whenever you feel up to it! Awesome shot Adam. What distance, roughly, camera to subject? Ground-glass I assume? Gary Thanks, Gary. Yes, tripod for sure. Distance was about 13"-18" and i of courses used the ground glass to measure the DOF to include only the main cactus subject in the foreground. More to come....

Paul Paul nice b&w tone . Is classical music ? Thanks for posting Exactly Paul ! It makes me thinking of duck (beyond a charming bird) who can fly and swim but not like a real bird and not like a real fish. This is exactly what is happening in the photography for the camera -a video in the camera, -approximate pictures with a smartphone (made an enlargement and you'll see) -the focus peaking for a focus on the camera (the shutter on and is used meanwhile + a battery that discharges) -the live view, -an electronic viewfinder (when battery over no viewfinder, no focus possible) versus optical and mechanical (no battery needed) -the pixels and Isos race All in square pixels that the camera software smooth and smooth to make plastic and synthesis image. There is now photo software who mimics and makes grain ! Where are we going ? Regards Henry Edited October 7, 2016 by Doc Henry

Hi Christoph Great set of images from the Peter Lindbergh exhibition, you really captured the feeling of such an exhibition! Regarding the Olympus I should use them more, (and they are quieter than the LX) for as you say there are some great lenses, the one used for the portrait (85mm) being one of them. Bateleur Posted October 7, 2016 Share #22174 Posted October 7, 2016 waltdisney.jpg Recently acquired a Nikon Coolscan 5000, been loving the scans I'm getting from it! Shot with M6 and Summicron 35mm ASPH Love the feeling of space in this picture, Tony, your eye moves from the figure and seems to go up forever. Oh and great tones too!
