It sure is a great way to buy your produce Henry, one of the many things we loved about France.

Our stay in Aix-en-Provence was very memorable, we stayed a very short distance from the market square where the Hotel de Ville is situated. All of our requirements were close at hand.

From that trip, and using the M6 and 35 Summicron. Not as colourful as your, but a slice of French life.

Gary

Edit: Just checked Google Maps. It would appear this is "Place de la mairie".

Gary,

A picture that captures the typical atmosphere in those markets.

When were you staying there? If it was this summer we could have met?

A few cities further in Arles there's an annual Photoexhibition in Summer, did you visit that as well?

Eoin absolutely superb through these colors and real atmosphere of Mediterranean coast

Thanks for posting Eoin.

I'll buy some Ektar for my trip in Asia next week

Thanks, Henry. I think I would have been better off with Portra, but Ektar is what I had.

Thanks, Henry. I think I would have been better off with Portra, but Ektar is what I had.

Eoin the advantage to have less Isos allows all daylight conditions and

sometimes possible at night with a tripod.

Eoin Ektar is good too , no regrets :) color is between Portra 400 and 160

it's warm too. Adam likes this film (remember his sunset pictures on NYC)

It's too luminous in Asia, I had taken the last time the Kodak Portra 400

This time I'll take more Portra 160 and TMax 100 ... and also TX400 of

course :) . I'll also take some Fuji Acros 100.

For someone who knows its mediterranean coast and the life in Italy, the color of these houses

is absolutely like here. Believe me , all my youth I lived over there. :)

Thanks Eoin for posting again.

These photos you can keep in same quality still for a long time , look at Chris portrait in 1991.

Not the case and not sure for memory cards of digital   :)

Thanks, Henry and Rob. I'm hoping to get back into wet printing, but it's going to have to hold off for a while.
