By the way, I believe that Henry is Lartigue in disguise. I just received the new Life in Colour book and was flicking through it when I saw the following. :D

Ha ha..but are those digital or film poppies?????

I'm going with Digital, the color does not look correct, the reds are favoring the orange side in comparison to Henry's  'Film Poppies'.

It's a photo by Lartigue. I think he has been dead more than thirty years.

Taking a break from Berlin and hoping Christoph doesn't mind that I post this of his elegant bag.

Btw, I've posted other photos from the recent and very enjoyable LUF meeting in Tilburg here.

I didn't pay attention to who shot the photo as opposed to the shot itself;  Henry posted a comparison of a Poppy shot a few pages back; DIgital vs. Film.....the coloring of Lartigue's is much more along the lines of Henry's digital rendering.

I've got the black one too, a bit small for medium format gear.  I carry my Filson Harvey bag every day to work, very well constructed and takes and takes a beating.

Henry,

My other Billingham bag is a black one  :)

'BB' (Before Brexit).  Hopefully it will still be there (and have customers) for a long time post-Brexit!

But i thought you said you thought he was Henry?

I'm confused...

It was a joke. I thought that was obvious (Lartigue being as well known as HCB). I'm sorry for any confusion. Edited by wattsy
