Tonight, and old trannie from a GSW690, Agfa 200. This time I did an Eoin, and shot 8 separate shots, and stitched them together, but man what an exercise in frustration. The apo Rodagon I usually use gave ghosting between the highlights and the shadows, possibly a touch of haze on the elements inside. I grabbed the 50 Summicron M, and much better. Gary Gary for the haze I see here (may be) it's difficult to judge in a picture above , but it's certain you can have a haze with Beoon because of interference with external light (and also UV you cann't see but exists and captures by sensor of your digit cam) which may slightly denatured : logic IMO. So quality of scan can decrease. Better you work in a dark place or inside a box ! Best Henry I see now the haze (2-3 cms) around the tower isn't Gary ? philipus Posted June 23, 2016 Share #17415 Posted June 23, 2016 I like it very much Gary, very striking composition and cool colour. From what I understand from having followed the APUG's MF forum and the large format forum too for a while many MF and larger photographers are really quite happy with the V7xx Epsons. Something to consider. Unless you want to buy the new Hasselblad mirrorless MF camera for about 8000 Eur (body) which incorporates the 50Mpix sensor from the H series backs and takes all H series lenses with an adapter Then again for that money I am wondering if one couldn't get a used H2 or 3 with 32Mpix back and a macro. Hmm I'm starting to get ideas here, dangerous. Doc Henry Posted June 23, 2016 Author Share #17416 Posted June 23, 2016 (edited) Philip you mean this : http://www.hasselblad.com/h5-system/h5d-50c I read somewhere it's a Sony CMOS sensor ? also somewhere I saw this : http://photorumors.com/2016/06/16/rumors-new-m-mount-camera-with-ccd-sensor-to-be-announced-soon/ but you know I am now faithful to film , the proof that CCD sensor comes back Color is better IMO versus CMOS Rg Henry Edited June 23, 2016 by Doc Henry
