gbealnz Posted June 13, 2016 Share #17003 Posted June 13, 2016 Darn, these are nice JM, you even have me researching "Hexar AF", . E200 I know. But the truth is, the photographer, and the subject/location are what are important, not the camera. Keep 'em coming. Gary

wattsy Posted June 13, 2016 Share #17009 Posted June 13, 2016 Neopan 400 CN, which is very contrasty and not great for this kind of light.
Doc Henry Posted June 13, 2016 Author Share #17010 Posted June 13, 2016 Neopan 400 CN, which is very contrasty and not great for this kind of light. ... but Ian it reminds me a lot Ilford That's what makes the richness of the film Good observation Ian and beautiful photo, beautiful girl Best Henry
wattsy Posted June 13, 2016 Share #17011 Posted June 13, 2016 ... but Ian it reminds me a lot Ilford My understanding is that Neopan 400 CN is actually made by Ilford and is, to all intents and purposes, re-packaged XP2.
Fotoklaus Posted June 13, 2016 Share #17012 Posted June 13, 2016 Basically over expose it all by a stop, will increase the grain but will print better (deeper blacks), imho ! But not the Slide-films. They will work or not. They will shift their colours, maybe, but a stop extra leads to overexposure.

da1nee Posted June 13, 2016 Share #17017 Posted June 13, 2016 Basically over expose it all by a stop, will increase the grain but will print better (deeper blacks), imho ! You are wrong - the contrary will happen if you overexpose, negatives will show much lower grain. Overexposing c41 / color negative film is a really recommend practice, but never, never overexpose E6 - images have to be exposed on the spot! Sparkassenkunde Posted June 13, 2016 Share #17019 Posted June 13, 2016 A right treasure trove James, most I recognize, some I don't though, very interesting. Gary Basically over expose it all by a stop, will increase the grain but will print better (deeper blacks), imho ! James, 26 E. for all these rolls , I am jealous Good photos and don't forget us Best Henry But not the Slide-films. They will work or not. They will shift their colours, maybe, but a stop extra leads to overexposure. Correct ! Thanks ! Thank you all for your feedback and good advices! I will hopefully find some time soon, to try out these 50 rolls and show you some examples. The only challenge will be to buy a scanner for medium format. Maybe I will stick to "scanning" with my X-Vario...
