The first one for me, too :) As someone wrote before, there are too many distractions in the second one, like the flares. I also like the somewhat darker sky more.

I'm a bit late to the party, but I prefer the 2nd one, also. I like cheese, so fromage away, Adam...

Thanks, James and Eoin.  As usual, a very diverse set of views and perspectives, which is what I like about yooz people :)

Very cool Adam, I enjoy these types of shots....I need to understand how you just preserve the yellow with all else B&W.  Was this with the Linhof, looks like a big ass file?

There you go trying to pigeon-hole me again, Christoph.  Be careful or I will post more artsy-fartsy ... ;)

Oh, I don't know, I kinda like it, it almost has that "duo-tone" look to it.

Gary

Thanks, Gary.  I like a guy with an open mind.   :D

Thanks, Marc.  Your tulips are lovely, too.  I took this with my Hassy SWC at a time in the afternoon where the strong sun had already gone.  So my options were limited.  There wasn't enough consistently applied sunlight to get great colors so I just played around with it until I least got it to be a nice greeting card

Some NYC street scenes, shot with Adox 20 ..... tough film to get right, and when I do I don't think its worth the effort, there are iso 100 films that more than up to the task .... anywhere are a few shots ....

and a few more ....

I like these, Steve.

I had hoped that Adox 20 would be a worthy ancestor for either Panatomic-X (one of my all time favourite films), or perhaps Tech-Pan. As it is impossible to get the Adox developer over here, I guess it doesn't matter, so I just have to live vicariously (and quite lazily), basking in the images stalwarts like yourself produce...
