EoinC Posted April 13, 2016 Share #13921 Posted April 13, 2016 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Here's one from last fall. I haven't posted in quite some time, due to mostly shooting digital over the winter. Will have some more film shots soon! M4-P, 35/2.5, HP5: Down by Brendan | Toews, on Flickr Very nice, Brendon. I like the perspective, and HP5 works well with the grain making for a gritty shot. Edited April 13, 2016 by EoinC

EoinC Posted April 13, 2016 Share #13922 Posted April 13, 2016 That "looking up" sculpture on Park Avenue got me thinking that I should look up more... Financial District, NYC Tri-X (6x9) looking up financial district.jpg I like this, Adam. Very nice composition, and the clouds make the shot.
Doc Henry Posted April 13, 2016 Author Share #13923 Posted April 13, 2016 I treat damp, worn limestone with a similar degree of caution to sheet ice. There's just enough slip potential in Chee Dale to make the 100 yards or so length of Chee Steps a bit of fun as the River Wye rushes past. This outdated Fujicolor C200 I'm finally using up three and a half years late is also a bit of fun. I have to say I'm impressed with the dynamic range, there is at least four stops difference between the banks. My new 28mm f2 summicron asph is another bit of fun too, I'm thinking the 75mm f2 summicron asph would make a good partner for it as a longer term travel plan. Chee Steps, White Peak. Leica MP 28mm f2 summicron asph old Fujicolor C200 exposed at 100 iso. Steve, really nice superb color Best Henry
EoinC Posted April 13, 2016 Share #13924 Posted April 13, 2016 There were a lot of moving parts to this; me, the escalator and the people. I didn't have the right film loaded given the lack of light, but decided to give it a try anyway. SWC/M - TMax 100 Exchange Place Station - Jersey City 15920007 by Marc Tauber, on Flickr Well done, Marc. Not an easy shot with a SWC. I like the metal highlights of the escalator treads punching through against the deep shadows. This image translate the sense of movement well.
EoinC Posted April 13, 2016 Share #13925 Posted April 13, 2016 I haven't posted here in a while as I have been playing about with medium and large format but there is some joy to come back to 35MM and Leica. Leica M6ttl, Pre ASPH 50mm Summilux, Kodak Ektar I think. Greenwich park and London from the Greenwich Meridian Line: I like this, Rob. The colours of the sky are very nice, and the buildings have an ethereal quality. Are you able to post some of your MF / LF shots? This thread is non-discriminatory.

Wonderful colours, intriguing patterns on the field, and the balloons below adding great perspective. Thank you for your kind comments Trev and Eoin As any person loving freedom in this world where everything is already "formatted" even in photo (I mean digital) Also feel like a bird, it feels good.
