Doc Henry Posted April 10, 2016 Author Share #13764 Posted April 10, 2016 I took another crack I took at this scene. This time to get more headroom I bought a 12 foot (4ish meter) ladder from the local hardware store and stuck it into the back of my Smartcar (with about 1/3 sticking out of the back) and transported it to this location. This view is from the top of the ladder. Not as dramatic as I thought might be the case but headroom I nevertheless got Ektar ET.jpg Adam I think you have found now a good angle Nice perspective and wonderful color as usual Thanks Best Henry

A miller Posted April 10, 2016 Share #13772 Posted April 10, 2016 After reading that , I am for a research of a M3 (one) of the best of Leica RF no batteries ... I think a M-A is the same ? no ? https://chrisbilodeauphotographyblog.com/2014/12/23/a-day-with-a-leica-master/ Your advice ? Best Henry Thanks for sharing this, HenryI know Youxin well and bought my M3 from him, as well as my 50 DR cron and 50 elmat screw mount All very good gear And i can vouch that he is a bit of a chatter box I also had him arrange for a black painting of a M3 by a guy in Texas. That was a but of an unpleasant experience; but i did get through (rnded up selling it on ebay for $1800 and believe it or not breaking even on my costs...)

A miller Posted April 10, 2016 Share #13780 Posted April 10, 2016 Subway in Munich Leica MP, Summilux 50, Tmax 400 best regards Marc Brilliant context, Marc, and a lovely photo overall. You might consider giving the highlights (or the white points) a slight bit more of a pop. I get that you are going for a gentle rendition; but it seems oh so slightly flat'ish I am really dancing on the head of a pin here... Great photo
