Nice, Ric. I like the lines. How is the Rolleiflex?

Only just starting with it, and I have to date exactly 16 exposures with it.

The left/right TLR confusion remains for now, but what I underestimated was the counterintuitive way you have to tilt the camera to straighten the horizon. Like balancing a pencil on my palm.

I wear reading glasses (a pleasure of the aging process) so the mirrored viewfinder isn't the easiest either. So the glasses go on the tip of my nose so I can look at the view over my glasses and then glance down at the viewfinder through my glasses.

Oh, and the Rolleiflex I picked up is a bit ratty, needs a proper CLA (the dial knobs are stiff), the mirror has a chip on the side, the case back has a dent, and the top housing doesn't open or close properly.

So I'm delighted. :-)

Ric

Have been struggling to keep up with the pace of the thread recently :D . Have a few new photos from March.

Despite the unseasonal warm weather much earlier in the year, March was still quite wintry.

That sounds excellent! The tilty-tilty thing comes fairly quickly and, in some ways should soon feel like you have more fine control than with 135 format (a bit like having a long throw focus). I wear reading glasses, too, and struggle without, unless using the Hasselblad's flip-up magnifier.

Do you find it a different experience "connection-wise" using the waist-level finder?
