Here's a try I did. Same subject shot in three different ways: Leica with Summaron 3,5, Fuji X-E2 with Summaron 35mm (though it becomes a 52mm) and Fuji X-E2 with the infamous Voigtländer 21mm (a 31mm in full format).

I used the medium yellow filter with the Leica and I've set up the Fuji in the same way using the Voigtländer lens.

The second has a different FOV, obviously, and I've shot them about the same time, with one hour difference more or less.

Which one is better? Hey Doc? :D

Richer tones & higher contrast in the first - (and blocked shadows in the avenue of trees?).  Do I see dust spots too?  ;)

Just in case anyone wondered how a 'Texas Leica' compared with the real things... (A 'Q' image).

So the film seems to have survived the the baggage X-ray exposure - well at least the 100 ISO stuff has as I'm yet to scan the 800 Cinestill

Mark,

I like the colours in your night pictures! Can't add a like just now, the website tells me I reached my daily limit  :o  Apparently I am not allowed to like too many pics in a single day ...  ;)

Very nice, Mark. Ektar handled the dark and colours well in both shots. Good news on the X-Ray front.

I've still got about 30 rolls of this in the freezer that I got from Boots when it was discontinued and was discounted to half price  :D

Leica R4, Vario Elmar-R 21-35, Kodak BW400CN

Thanks, Bob. I like this shot. Congratulations on the good deal at Boots.

Everything's bigger in Texas, or so I've heard :)
