Can I agree on the Ektar? I have never been happy with my results, probably my lax exposure control!!

All three of mine are on the Hasselblad H1 with the 80mm f2.8 HC. The apple with an extension tube 13mm I think, I have the set so can be confused!!

Stunning work, Chris. You seem to be enjoying the H1, and putting it to very good use.

First, here's my "protection" payment to Marc for the day...

Anonymous New Yorker stampede...

M-A 28mm summaron, Portra 400

This should be a couple of months worth of protection, Adam. I really like the effect of the colours coming through an essentially monochromatic scene.

Thanks, Eoin - As Marc did not indicate in response to your post that I have bought myself any more than a day as far as he is concerned, I shall not make any presumptions about that  :D

A couple of months?? Come on , we need more...

very nice, Marc.  Great framing, lines and color from that little camera.

Thanks Adam! I am also impressed about the quality of this little tiny camera. With the 28 mm glass, it is my analog "Q".

best regards

Marc

Another view of Silbury Hill & surrounding flood-water. Fuji GW690II, Tri-X, Rodinal.

I think if I lived anywhere near Silbury Hill I'd take a zillion pickies of it. Very striking presence in the landscape.

I like these a lot Chris. And in a very pleasant way they certainly don't make my decision-making process about the F6 vs the F100 we're discussing over at RFF any easier :)

For what it's worth I would have reached the same end result with the F100 I am sure but the shooting experience is considerably nicer. It is much more like a current digital Nikon, a good thing if you mix them, and I think more capable of bringing back the results in a difficult situation. Really the F100 is so inexpensive I don't think you can go wrong there but (always a but) the F6 is much better machine. I hope that is no help at all  :D  :D

Kind comments on the shots appreciated.

What do I do on days that aren't foggy? I go for tree silhouettes of course!

Both taken with my usual M6 and Summicron 50mm combination. I meter for the sky and then see what comes of it.

That sounds very scientific "See what comes out " [emoji3]
