London - Ilford XP2 by -Ric Capucho-

Erm, one of my more blurry shots typically taken during the night on the way back to my hotel from one of my usual indian restaurants (probably the Tale of India) near the London Docklands.

The Flickr crowd liked this one, for some reason.

Ric

Ah Ric blur or not , I love it :)

You said "tale"  ?

Thanks

wow, amazing, Marc.  Love the results from the Tmax.  You really make it sing!

Thanks a lot Adam, I am really happy with the Tmax that I can not bring myself to use another b/w film, but maybe aI will give a Ilford Delta 400 a try

Perfect like always when you are in the streets of New York

The eyes are so sharp and deep black. Wow!

Thank you very much. I had to change almost nothing, just increased black a bit.

SUPERB Marc

More please :)

Adam, this is very good indeed and works brilliantly in colour. I think what I lacked in the previous one is "depth" - the colour film when converted looks (and I realise this is on a screen; it might well look very different in print) flat somehow (perhaps because of smaller grain?). I saw the same when I converted Portra in my old surfers project and had a difficult time making them look black and white.

The below shot has a nice golden tint which pleasantly 'jars' (if that can be pleasant) with the anonymity theme. And I am sucker for edge-lit silhouettes and narrow sun-lit streets.

And I actually have a version of it in black and white. Here it is.

You suggested to Adam, to give some colour ! I am wondering how the above would look in black and white. I do like this.

The two next best from that morning but, I only notice now that the Portra had run out and Ektar 100 maybe didn't enjoy the warm light/golden sand/blue sea quite as much. Excuse the dust-on-sensor scans.
