Sure that the development is important . Like Chris or RP , I develop myself b&w and color film.

In example, "more grain , more dev. time"

Henry,

One of those days I hope to get back to scanning some frames, seams to be those days spare time is a rare thing.

They do say the Romans had vineyards not unlike some of your pictures in Britain when they where there, might just be natural cycle. Now that we are industrialized we are not able to adopt....

Peter , it is a real disaster management problem in the coming years.

I, who have participated in many medical humanitarian mission and has helped many people in different corners of the world, but especially in Asia, Madagascar etc ... many people die and suffer in abject poverty and total abandonment !

I think especially to children !

In short, all that to say that our politicians still have much work to do and behind all this, there are the economic lobbies,

profit and the exploitation of man by man

Sad time !

Here a picture after a cyclone, roads are cut , fortune roads are made quickly in awaiting , many homes are destroyed  (sometimes these are homes with an improvised roof,  corrugated iron that goes away at the slightest blast of wind)

Normally it is better to have the sun for color film, here I wanted to test Kodak Portra in less light conditions
it gives an atmosphere quite like I had lived that day
I also have these landscapes in Kodak TX.

at 2300m :)

at your right you have paragliders, 6 in total

The Mont Blanc 4800m , is at your left in the clouds

Chamonix valley at your right :)

When I think from a tectonic point of view, it is the African plate pushing the European plate
and that raises the Mont Blanc and the Alpes , I think that nature is wonderful  and that man is only a tiny element !

Grains of film are wonderful for snow and clouds (no "smoothing" pixels aspect)

Beautiful work, Doc.   I enjoy traveling vicariously through the lens of others.

Here's the second of my 1992 Noyo Harbor, Fort Bragg, CA.  triptych...   a fishing boat at the quay.  Again a Hassy 500cm with T-Max 400.

Our youngest is going on a deployment and so we went to see him off this weekend.

My wife decided to photo bomb the one picture...I really got a chuckle out of that.

I think that the film was Kodak Color Plus 200 or Kodak UltraMax 400.

Since it was so low lit in the Taco Bell, I was using about 1/4 second shutter speed and though there is SOME blur, I think it came out good enough to keep.

I developed it at recommended temp at home. I was trying out my new hotplate and temperature controller. They worked fine.

It's a very nice (and hilarious) photo. Impressive sharpness for such a long shutter speed. I hope the deployment will go well.
