gsgary Posted September 8, 2015 Share #6701 Posted September 8, 2015 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) I guess its most likely to be me that is the problem...! Can you comment on the grain sharpness on this image? I tried v hard to focus carefully on the lock of the door. Maybe I need to wear contacts when shooting, rather than my glasses......? This gives you an idea of the sharpness i get with the plustek 7500i with a bit of sharpening in post Edited September 8, 2015 by gsgary

philipus Posted September 8, 2015 Share #6708 Posted September 8, 2015 I find B&W development tricky sometimes, particularly when pushing the film and using HC-110. The times become quite unreliable and getting acceptable results require trial and error. Here's the Swedish supreme commander Gen. Göransson at an exercise I was at earlier this year. It's Tri-X at EI1600 in HC-110:H with the TTL and the 50/1.4A. Welcome, dear visitor! ReturningToFilm Posted September 8, 2015 Share #6709 Posted September 8, 2015 Henry- lovely shots, thank you. Philipus- great shots! Do you think Portra would work well in Marseille rather than B&W? I haven't shot colour film and would get it developed by someone else, could be a fun experiment!

philipus Posted September 9, 2015 Share #6712 Posted September 9, 2015 (edited) Thanks Steve. The grain in Tri-X can be pretty fantastic if done right. Is the Maine photo also Tri-X? The tonality is amazing, very nicely done. enjoying the Maine Coast -- Edited September 9, 2015 by philipus
Doc Henry Posted September 9, 2015 Author Share #6713 Posted September 9, 2015 (edited) 18 years out of date Ektar hard porn M4P with Jupiter8 50F2 wide open Moving to the right color curves I obtained that I allowed myself to correct to "make up" this beautiful picture with its nice bokeh Gary's opinion and your opinion ? Gary is perhaps tired not want to correct Dominant blue, probably a development temperature stability problem but film 18 years out of date still good IMO Best Henry Welcome, dear visitor!
